Broccoli Oriental

This recipe is from Fix It and Forget It Lightly.

Broccoli Oriental (8 servings)
2 lbs fresh broccoli, trimmed and chopped bite-size

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

1 green or red pepper, sliced thinly

1 onion, sliced

4 T light soy sauce

1/2 t salt

dash of pepper

1T sesame seeds, optional

Combine all but sesame seeds in crockpot. Cook on low 6 hours. Garnish with seeds.

Serve over brown rice.

(Note: cooking time is direct from the cookbook. As Blest pointed out in comments, it is probably pretty mushy after 6 hours. I just check it off and on and stop it when its the right texture for us. Roughly, 4 hours, maybe less. Use your own discretion in all things ;-p
