Please forgive me but I cook by feel and taste. Measuring is kind of hit and miss with me. Something my Hubby really loves is Turkey Blackbean Soup.
Brown one pound of ground turkey breast in a little olive oil.
Add one can of drained, rinsed black beans (you can add more beans if you like)
Dice two zucchine and add them along with a cup of water to the meat and beans (you might need to add more water)
Add about a teaspoon of cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
Cook until the zucchine is tender. Serve with cooked brown rice.
This is very good. And so good for you.
